FRAMINGHAM – One of the Framingham Public School District’s elementary principals is leaving.

Brophy Elementary School Principal Frank Rothwell is leaving and will not be the Principal for the 2022-23 school year.

Rothwell has been the Principal at Brophy since August 2010.

Prior to that he was one of the Vice Principals at Framingham High School fromSeptember 2004 to August of 2010. Rothwell, who lives in Framingham, was hired as a teacher at Framingham High in September of 1999.

The Framingham Public Schools named an interim Principal the same afternoon Rothwell’s departure ws announced.
