FRAMINGHAM – An 11-year-old boy on a bicycle was struck on Saturday, July 16 after 8 p.m.

The boy was struck at 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Wellington Avenue and Summit Street, according to police.

He suffered minor injuries and was transported to Metrowest Medical Center by ambulance.

The driver of the vehicle did stop, said the police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The driver was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without a license, said Lt. Mickens.
