NATICK – Natick first responders received a report of a dump truck in the water at Lake Cochituate this morning, July 18 at 11:45 a.m.

The truck was reported in the lake off Route 135 near the American Veterans building.

Natick Engine 4 arrived on scene to find a large dump truck partially submerged in the water, posted Natick Fire.

“The truck was unoccupied and there were no reported injuries,” said Natick Fire on social media.

“Units facilitated the safe removal of the vehicle while making sure there were no hazardous materials entering the water,” said Natick Fire.

It is unknown how the vehicle got in the lake, at this time.
