FRAMINGHAM – In real estate, summer is the busiest moving season of the year.

And it is still a seller’s market in Massachusetts.

Demand is high in the Commonwealth, driving sales prices up.

Prices have surged since the pandemic began in spring of 2020.

June’s median home price was $617,750, up 44% since June 2019, when the median price was $429,000.

Despite rising home price and an increase in mortgage interest rates, Bay State single-family home and condominium sales increased again for the third month in a row, according to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
