FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police Officer Kenneth Blass retired this week, announced Framingham Police on social media.

“In the past 32 plus years, Officer Blass has served with the Mass Department of Corrections, Ashland Police, and for the past 24 years, with the Framingham Police Department,” noted Framingham Police.

Officer Blass grew up in Ashland.

“Officer Blass, known as ‘Hoss’ by his friends and colleagues, was considered an ‘unofficial leader, said Framingham Police.

“We will miss his guidance and his mentorship of young officers,” said Chief Baker.
