FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating a motor vehicle broken into on July 4 around 8 p.m.

“A purse and bag were taken from a vehicle parked” next to the Daily Mart at 371 Hollis Street in downtown Framingham.

“The stolen items were located near the store with a money card missing,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The suspect in the theft is a woman, but has not been identified yet, said Lt Mickens.

The theft was reported to police on July 5 at 9:28 a.m., according to the public police log.
