FRAMINGHAM – Blueberries were very popular at the Framingham Farmers’ Market today, June 30.
This was the second week of the new market and the crowd was just as large as opening week.
There were three farm vendors selling fresh vegetables. There was a steady stream of customers at Heavens Harvest Certified Organic Farm from New Braintree.
One of the longest lines today was for the Kona Ice truck, as it was a sunny 80 degree day.
Another long line was found at the Great Harvest Bread company tent. The Apple Pie Bread was sold out by 4:30 p.m.
There were more than 3 dozen vendors for week 2 including new vendors Fiora Soap and Nygee’s Naturals. If you missed Fiora Soap, they will be back in August.
The Framingham Public Library bookmobile also had a stream of visitors for the four hours, signing people up for the summer reading program.
The market will be open next Thursday, July 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Framingham Centre Common. Cousin’s Lobster Truck will be back next week.
