FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating multiple motor vehicles broken into near the Anna Murphy Playground neighborhood.
The vehicles were reported broken into on Friday, June 24 on Winthrop Terrace, which is in the Coburnville-Tripoli Neighborhood near Anna Murphy Park and Lake Waushakum beach.
Stolen from one of the vehicles was a camera bag with a camera, several camera lens, and a tripod.
Loose change was stolen from the other vehicles.
Police said surveillance showed a man with a long sleeve black t-shirt and black shorts, trying to open several vehicles in the neighborhood.
The suspect has not been identified, said police.
Framingham Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles at night and not to leave valuables in their vehicles, especially in plain sight.
