FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating reports of two motor vehicles broken into in a South Framingham neighborhood over the weekend

Both vehicles were broken into on Friday, June 24 on Cedar Street in the Coburnville neighborhood of the City.

The vehicles were reported broken into at 132 and 128 Cedar Street, according to the public police log.

Police said at least one vehicle was locked and the thief pried open.

The car was “rummaged” through and the contents of the glove box were open and all over the vehicles, said Police.

It appears all that was stolen was some loose change and cash, less than $10, said police.

Framingham Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles at night and not to leave valuables in their vehicles, especially in plain sight.
