NATICK – Michael Aldo (“Al”) Pagliarulo, 81, of Ashland and formerly of Bellingham, Natick, and Trieste Italy passed away on June 24, 2022.

He was born on July 17, 1940 to Francesco Vincenzo Pagliarulo and Vera (Sannicandro) Pagliarulo.  

Michael immigrated to the US in 1951 and graduated from Natick High School in 1959.

He honorably served in the US Army (3rd Armored Division) from 1959-1962.

He worked for Ford Motor Company in Natick from 1963-1980 and Wellesley College from 1981 until retirement in 2002.

He was a long-time member of the Sons of Italy. 

Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and lending a helping hand whenever he could. He had a dry sense of humor and loved one-liners. He was a man of principle and discipline with exceptional dedication to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and always loved by all.  

Michael is survived by his son Michael F. Pagliarulo of Los Angeles; his sister Licia Lee of Perry Florida; his son-in-law Roger Badeau of Sherborn; his grandchildren Marissa Badeau of Boulder Colorado and Mikael Badeau of Chicago; and his dearest friend Donna Rafus of Natick. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Hanson) Pagliarulo; his daughter Susan Badeau; and his siblings: Joe Pagliarulo, Franca Gustin, and Maria Kannar. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street in Natick.  Followed by Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m.

Burial services will follow in Dell Park Cemetery in Natick.
