FRAMINGHAM – Police are investigating a vehicle stolen from the Lowe’s parking lot on Route 30 in Framingham over the weekend.

The theft was reported to Framingham Police Saturday, June 25 around 5:08 p.m., according to the police log.

The man came into the police station to report that his 2014 Toyota Tacoma was stolen while he was shopping at Lowe’s.

The man told police he went into the home improvement store leaving his vehicle “unlocked” and with the “keys under the floor mat.” When he came out the vehicle was gone. This happened around 3:30 p.m. he told police.

The man had his wife pick him up and drive him to the Framingham Police Station to report the theft, said Police.

The police have not recovered the vehicle at this time.
