1 Today is the 180th day of school for students in grades K-8 in the Framingham Public Schools.

Today is a half day and no lunch will be served! Enjoy the summer!!

2. Today is the opening of the Framingham Farmers’ Market. The market is still at the Framingham Centre Common but there are new hours from 3 to 7 p.m. and with new management. Click here to learn more.

3. The MetroWest Conference for Women will hold an open meeting tonight at the Christa McAuliffe Library branch from 6:30 to 8 for input into the 6th Annual Conference. Click here for more details.

4. CITY OF FRAMINGHAM meetings (all remote unless noted):

  • Framingham City Council: Ordinance & Rules Subcommittee at 6 p.m.
  • Framingham School Building Committee at 7 p.m.

5. ICYMT — There was a joint meeting of the Framingham School Committee and the Framingham City Council Tuesday night to fill the vacant District 2 School Committee seat. The vote was unanimous for David Gordon. City Clerk Lisa Ferguson swore him at the meeting and his first official act was to participate in the vote to adjourn the 9-member School Committee.
