2. Today is the longest day of the year and the official start of summer. Summer solstice 2022 officially began today at 5:14 a.m.

3. This is the last week of school for Framingham Public School students.

The official 180th day is June 23.

There is a COVID-19 vaccine clinic today at Harmony Grove Elementary School.

4. There will be a joint School Committee and City Council meeting tonight to vote to replace the District 2 School Committee seat that was vacated with the resignation of Ricky Finlay.

Three candidates applied by the deadline to be appointed by the two elected boards. The remaining 8 members of the School Committee and the 11 members of the City Council will vote to appoint one individual to finish the term through December 31, 2023.

Finlay was elected in November 2021 unopposed.
