FRAMINGHAM – A pocketbook was stolen from an unlocked motor vehicle on Route 9 on Wednesday, June 8.

The theft was reported at 8:23 a.m. at 1290 Worcester Road, according to the Framingham Police log.

Framingham Police said the vehicle was unlocked.

“No suspect at this time,” said the police spokesperson.

Framingham Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles at all times.

Police are also advising residents to not leave valuables in their vehicles overnight, and if they need to leave something valuable in their vehicle during the day – not to leave it in plain sight.

Framingham and MetroWest has been seeing an increase in motor vehicle breaking & enterings.
