FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham held a celebration for the fourth year to celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride month.

Among the speakers were Mayor Charlie Sisitsky, City Council Chair Phil Ottaviani Jr. School Committee Chair Priscila Sousa, Library Trustee Isabella Petroni, and Ana Landaverde from Out MetroWest.

The Mayor’s Chief of Staff Susan Nicholl, The City’s Citizen Participation Officer Keziah Franca, and the City’s new Public Information Officer Ryan Egan were in attendance, along with Framingham Deputy Police Chief Ron Brandolini. First Lady of Framingham Robin Kaye also attended.

Superintendent of Schools Bob Tremblay was in attendance, along with Assistant Superintendent of Schools for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Tiffany Lillie and Framingham Schools Manager of Diversity, Inclusion & Compliance Shaunda Edwards.

City Councilors Janet Leombruno, District 5 City Councilor Noval Alexander, and District 7 Councilor Leora Mallach were in attendance. District 9 School Committee member William Larbarge and Framingham Planning Board Chair Kristina Johnson were also present.

There was a large contingent of Framingham Public School staff, students and alumni, including several Framingham High GSA members who also spoke.
