FRAMINGHAM – Employees from TJX and a few other volunteers placed flags at Veterans’ graves at St. Tarcisius cemetery on Friday morning.

City of Framingham Veterans Services Officer Kathy Lang met the volunteers at the southside cemetery at the corner of Bethany Road and Winthrop Street.

Last Saturday, scores of volunteers placed more than 2,400 flags at the graves of Veterans at Historic Edgell Grove Cemetery.

On Monday, the City of Framingham will hold a Memorial Day ceremony at Nevins Hall inside the Memorial Building at 11 a.m. The City will award 17 medals of liberty. The public is invited to the ceremony.
