FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting overnight utility work at the Route 9 eastbound off-ramp to Route 126 southbound in Framingham. This work will result in nighttime ramp closures and detours on Monday, May 23, and Tuesday, May 24.

The closures and detours will be as follows:

  • Closure of the Route 9 eastbound off-ramp to Route 126 southbound on Monday, May 23, and Tuesday, May 24, each night from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. Traffic on Route 9 eastbound will be detoured to use the Concord Street off-ramp and directed to follow the signage in place to access Route 126.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
