FRAMINGHAM – Noche De Fiesta is planned for downtown Framingham on Saturday, July 23.
The first-ever summer block party will take place on Lexington Street from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Co-hosted by the Framingham Public Library Foundation and the City of Framingham Public Library, the fiesta will feature a beer garden by Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company, food trucks, music, dancing, arts & crafts, and highlight the numerous offerings of the Framingham Public Library.
The main Framingham Public Library is located on Lexington Street in downtown Framingham. Lexington Street will be closed to traffic for the fiesta, which also will celebrate the Hispanic and Brazilian culture of downtown Framingham.
The summer fiesta will feature music and dancing, including a special performance by Los Sugar Kings, a Boston-based Cuban Roots, R&B, rock & Reggae quartet, with ties to Framingham.
Registration is open. The first 500 people who pre-register for the FREE event, will receive a FREE Fiesta bag at the event.

Sponsorships for the summer fiesta are still available at $250, $500, and $1,000 levels.
Current $1,000 sponsors include VTT, Brz Insurance, Middlesex Savings Bank, State Rep. Maria Robinson, Eversource, Realtor Phil Ottaviani Jr., TJX, Wayside Youth & Family Support Network, and UG Auto Sales.
Other Noche de Fiesta sponsors include Senate President Karen Spilka, Mayor Charlie Sisitsky and First Lady Robin Kaye, Cannon & Associates, Carmel Movers, Auto Brite Car Care in Framingham, Crosspoint, Dia Feliz Adult Day Care in Framingham, South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC), Framingham Housing Authority, School Committee Chair Priscila Sousa, Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis, District 8 City Councilor John Stefanini, Santander Bank, MetroWest Credit Union, and McCarthy Funeral Home.
Realtor Kathy Foran is sponsoring free face painting for the entire event.
The Framingham Public Library Foundation is still seeking sponsors at all levels for the community event. The deadline for the $1,000 sponsorship level is June 15, as those sponsors will be included in bags for attendees.
All sponsorship levels include a free booth at the event.
The deadline for $250 and $500 sponsorships is July 1.
Money raised will support the Framingham Public Library via the Foundation, a 50C13 organization. The Framingham Public Library Foundation has raised money for the City’s bookmobile, the new teen room under construction in the main library, the SparkLab, and is currently fundraising for a new technology center for the main Framingham Library.
The Foundation is also offering booth space at the fiesta to local Framingham businesses and organizations.
The cost is $55 through June 20, and $75 after June 20 for a booth.
Non-profit organization can reserve a free booth, if they provide an approved arts & craft at the fiesta.
The organizers of the Noche De Fiesta, welcome downtown businesses to sell food, clothing, and introduce their businesses to the community at the fiesta via a booth.
Booth space is limited.
The fiesta will highlight the many offerings of the Framingham Public Library, including the SparkLab, the Library of Things, the Bookmobile, the Citizenship Corner, the new Business Center, the Friends of the Framingham Public Library, the Summer Reading program, etc.
