NATICK – Geraldine Katherine (Morley) Fair of Natick and Centerville, Massachusetts passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

She was faith-filled, fun loving, selfless, kind, bold and so thoughtful with her prayers and notes. Her letters to her children and grandchildren always finished with the signature “Love, Peace and Joy! She lived her faith; it was her life and she passed on that faith to all of us.

She was born the youngest daughter of George and Loretta Morley in New Rochelle, New York on May 28, 1932. 

She was pre-deceased by her siblings Connie Ives, George, Patricia Williamson, Jack, Mary Jane and Frank Morley.

Geraldine graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1950 and Mount St Mary’s College in Hooksett, New Hampshire in 1954.

She married Arthur B. Fair, Jr. on October 16,1954 and the native New Yorker moved to New England enjoying a loving, faith-filled marriage for 56 years.

Together they raised 10 children sharing many happy occasions and have been blessed with 27 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Geraldine was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur in 2010.

She is survived by three daughters Kathleen Fair Chandley (Kevin) of Natick, MA: Susan Fair Goddard (Jonathan), of Acton, MA; Geraldine Fair Schworer (David) of Medfield, MA; and her seven sons David Fair (Linda) of Framingham, MA; Daniel Fair of Tampa, FL; Arthur Fair, III (Patricia) of Natick, MA; Stephen Fair of Brookline, MA; Thomas Fair (Sherill) of Norfolk, MA; Michael Fair (Sarah) of Natick, MA; Matthew Fair (Sarah) of Westport, CT. Her 27 grandchildren: Elizabeth Gallant (Kevin), Kevin Chandley, David Fair (Elise), Jonathan Goddard Jr. (Michelle), Brian Fair, James Fair (Alice), Alison Key (Ben), Arthur “AJ” B. Fair IV, Michael Chandley, Matthew Goddard, Ryan Fair, Christian Fair, Olivia Fair, Josephine Fair, Katherine Fair, Lydia Fair, Alexandra Goddard, Margaret Fair, Ryan Schworer, Matthew Fair Jr., Brendan Fair, Christopher Schworer, Ellen Fair, Molly Fair, Michael Fair Jr., William Fair, Emma Fair. Geraldine had eight great grandchildren: Charlie, Sloan and Wilford Rex Fair, Emerson Key, Josephine, Ryan and Maren Gallant and Vivian Goddard. She is survived by her sister-in-law Doris Fair. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick on Thursday May 19, 2022 at 11a.m.

Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Natick.

In lieu of flowers your expressions of sympathy may be made in Geraldine’s memory to Our Lady of Victory Church, Centerville or Natick Catholic Community (St Patrick/St Linus, Natick ) or the Natick Service Council.
