FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High softball team shut out Wellesley at home today, May 16.

The Flyers won in 5 innings 10-0.

Framingham is now 8-9 overall and 5-5 in the Bay State Conference.

Junior Johnna Maloney pitched a 3-hit complete game shut out with three strike outs.

Junior Amber Welch went 2-3 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Junior shortstop Hannah Hoffman scored 2 runs and hit a home run.

Junior Jill Maloney went 1-2 with 2 RBI and a run.

Junior Lily Novak went 1-3 with 2 RBIs.

Junior centerfielder Julia Matz scored 2 runs. 

Flyers travel to Newton on May 18 for a 4:30 p.m. game against the Tigers of Newton North.
