FRAMINGHAM – Mary E. (Wright) Ahearn, age 91, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

 She was the loving wife of 35 years to the late Thomas J. Ahearn who died in 2001.

 Born in Taunton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Margarita (McNeil) Wright.

Mary graduated from Ashland High School in 1949.  

Mary worked ten years for the Town of Framingham, seven years for Fenwal Inc. in Ashland and then 10 years at Nyacol Technologies in Ashland.

Mary and her husband Tom enjoyed many good times on Sunrise Lake in NH. They enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycling, and playing cards with friends.

She was a longtime member of the Ashland Historical Society, Framingham Garden Club, and the Callahan Senior Center in Framingham.

Mary is survived by her nieces; Patricia Fields of CA, Rita Shelton and her husband Chris of NC; nephew Rev. Stanley Wright of VA.  Grandnephew Bob Doran and his wife, Jennifer of CA.  Grandnieces Beth Kruckeberg of CA and Audrey and her husband Jason of NC. Great grandnieces Noel Doran and Cambria Kruckeberg of CA, Gabby, and Bella Shelton of NC. Great grandnephews Colin Kruckeberg and Hudson Doran of CA.

She was the sister to the late Dorothy Pearl Molloy and Lea Stanley Wright.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street in Framingham, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 9-10 a.m.

Followed by her funeral Mass at St. Stephen Church, 221 Concord Street in Framingham at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery in Framingham.
