1 Construction is scheduled today for Concord Street & Elm Street and Central Street between Edgell Road and Summer Street today. expect delays. Work is scheduled between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

2. There will be a mock disaster drill on Flagg Drive today for MassBay students. There will be police, fire, and ambulances from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

3. Framingham High will hold its senior poetry slam tonight. The public is invited.

4. CITY of FRAMINGHAM meeting (all are remote unless otherwise noted):

  • Framingham School Committee: Climate Change, Env., & Sustainability Subcommittee at 4:30 p.m.
  • Framingham High School Council at 5:15 p.m.
  • Framingham Youth Council – Ad hoc Subcommittee on Lowering Voting Age at 6:15 p.m.

Mayor Charlie Sisitsky will meet with  Senator Eric Lesser to discuss issues that are currently being addressed by the Joint Committee on Economic Development, which the senator chairs.

Yesterday, Mayor Sisitsky was at the State House and met with Governor Charlie Baker.

Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito visited with the Mayor and the City Council Chair Phil Ottaviani Jr. and City Council Vice Chair Janet Leombruno on Monday afternoon at the Memorial Building.

5. The library will hold a Recycling 101 workshop tonight with the City’s recycling coordinator.
