FRAMINGHAM – A pedestrian was injured yesterday, April 26, when he was struck by a vehicle while walking in the crosswalk.

The man was struck at about 12:51 p.m. at 193 Concord Street while in the crosswalk, according to police.

Engine 5 & Ambulance 1 responded and evaluated a man, 68, complaining of hip pain, said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

He was transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston via ambulance, said the Fire Chief.

The driver was “cited for failure to stop for pedestrian in crosswalk,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.
