NATICK – U.S. News & World Report latest rankings of high schools in Massachusetts has Natick High School in the top 100, but higher than their 66th ranking in 2021.

Natick High School came in 71st in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Last year Natick High was 1,577 nationally. This year, 1,686.

Good news is that the student-teacher ratio dropped from 14-1 to 13-1.

The national magazine has the high school with 1,550 students.

“Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams. The AP® participation rate at Natick High is 57%. The total minority enrollment is 22%,” wrote US News & World Report.

Last year, 62% of the students participated in AP exams.

The magazine said “schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college.”

Boston Latin was ranked #1 on the list in Massachusetts and the Advanced Math & Science Charter School in Marlborough was ranked #2 on the list – up from 3 last year.

Lexington High is the highest ranked – non testing public high school – at fourth.
