FRAMINGHAM – Starting in May, Keolis & the MBTA will reduce the number of trains running along the Framingham-Worcester commuter rail line.

Due to construction, the change will last about 6 month into October.

The change mainly impacts midday and weekend trains.

Inbound weekday service:
Time adjustments to trains 510, 514, 518, 520, 532, 534 and 536

Trains 512, 516 and 522 temporarily eliminated

Outbound weekday service:
Time adjustments to trains 501, 503, 505, 509, 513, 515, 519, 521, 523, 525, 527, 529, 531, 533, 535, 537

Trains 507, 511 and 517 temporarily eliminated

Inbound weekend service:
no changes

Outbound weekend service:
5 minutes time adjustment to all Saturday and Sunday trains

New rail ties are being installed along the stretch of track between Framingham and Worcester.
