“This is an important opportunity to engage in a collaborative process that will allow stakeholders to work together in reviewing applicants for this important role,” said the district in a press release.

The Committee will interview selected candidates and make recommendations to the Superintendent of Schools. The Committee will serve in a consultative role as Massachusetts General Laws place the appointment of administrators solely in the hands of the Superintendent.

What Is Required?

All Screening Committee members must undergo a full training, which includes an anti-bias training, and commit to a significant amount of time for interviews. All meetings will be virtual. Screening Committee members MUST attend ALL meetings.
