FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High baseball team improves to 2-0 on the season, with a commanding 10-0 shutout of Brookline High today, April 11, at Bowditch Field.

Sophomore JJ Blanchard earned the victory on the mound pitching 6 innings, and striking out 8 Warriors.

Framingham took a 1-0 lead after the first inning, and had a 2-0 lead after two innings.

Senior Scooter Beverly had a RBI to increase the Flyers lead to 3-0 in the 5th inning.

The Flyers scored 7 runs in the sixth and final inning.

Senior Cody Coleman was three for four, with 2 RBIs and 3 stolen bases.

Senior Nathan Thurber was 1 for 2 with an RBI.

Framingham travels to Natick for a game with its bay State rival on Wednesday, April 13 at 3:45 p.m.
