FRAMINGHAM – Firefighters extinguished a brush fire near Framingham State University’s campus around 10:30 p.m. last night, March 30.

Engine 1 responded to the area of High and Main streets for a brush fire, said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

Engine 1 found a 15 X 20′ area of leaves and grass on fire, said the Fire Chief.

Firefighters used the brush line to quickly extinguish fire, said the Fire Chief.

No cause of fire has been determined, said the Chief.
