MARLBOROUGH – Jean M. (Auger) Ripley, 93, lifelong resident of Marlborough, died on Sunday, March 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Beaumont Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing in Northborough.

She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Camille L. and Margaret J. (Clancy) Auger.

She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Charles J. Ripley Sr. in 2016.

Jean is survived by her 3 daughters, Joanne M. Richer and her husband Donald of Berlin, Susan J. Cass and her husband Brian of Marlborough, Karen A. Bodkin of Marlborough and a son, Charles “Chuck” J. Ripley Jr and his wife Gayle of Marlborough; 9 grandchildren, Kellie Senske and her husband Joseph, Kate Ripley, Daniel Richer and his wife April, Timothy Richer and his wife Laurie, Sondra Ahearn and her husband Brian, Mallory Cass and her fiancé Jon Vives, Douglas Bodkin, Charles “Chad” Ripley III, Jasen Ripley; 9 great grandchildren, Joseph, Dominic, Madeleine, Aquinas, Jonathan, Kayla, Lauren, Joshua and Jacob as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Kevin C. Ripley in 2016 and his wife, Lynne Ripley in 2021 along with her four brothers, Richard, Joseph, David and Roger Auger.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 11 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 W Main St., Northborough, MA.

Calling hours will be held prior to her Mass on Thursday, March 31, from 9-10:30 in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jean’s name to Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress, 20 Mall Rd., Ste. 261, Burlington, MA 01803.
