FRAMINGHAM – Francis “Vinny” P. V. Farley a longtime Framingham resident, died peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

Born in Holyoke MA.  He was the beloved son of the late Frank J. and Betty E. (MacDonald) Farley.

Francis served honorably in the United States Army as a specialist during the Vietnam War.

For over 25 years, Francis “Vinny” was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Framingham.

He enjoyed his family time, especially the time spent with his siblings.  One of his favorite pastimes was attending the Harness races at the Plainridge Park Casino. 

Francis “Vinny” is survived by his loving sister, Catherine F. Lanza of Leominster.  He will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He was the cherished brother of the late Robert Farley, Andrew Farley, Walter Farley, Edward L. Farley, and most recent William Farley who passed away in January 2022. He was also the brother-in-law of the late Stephen Lanza.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street in Framingham on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral home service at 11 a.m..

Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery in Framingham.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to St. George’s Church, 74 School Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org
