FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham is seeking to re-design Reardon Park in the Saxonville neighborhood of the City.

The Framingham Parks & Recreation Commission will hold its second design and planning meeting on Wednesday, March 23 at 7 p.m. remotely via Zoom.

The park is located at corner of Laclede Avenue/Maymont Drive in Saxonville.

The park was named for Framingham Resident William Reardon, who worked hard to get the town to develop a beach on Lake Cochituate in the Saxonville section of Framingham. The beach opened during the summer of 1954.
