FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham City Council celebrated the 103rd birthday of Jean Elizabeth Brown with a citation at tonight’s March 1 meeting.

District 5 City Councilor Noval Alexander put forth the citation request.

Jean Elizabeth Brown was born on January 10, 1919 and, together with her husband Harold, had two children, noted the citation.

Jean, who grew up with her family in Wellesley, has always been creative and artistic. She still knits and paints all the time, said the citation.

“She is a proud person, with a strong work ethic and enduring faith in others; WE, the Council of the City of Framingham do hereby congratulate and honor Jean Elizabeth Collins on the 103rd anniversary of her birth and wish her many more celebrations to come.  Given this First day of March, 2022,” noted the citation, which was voted unanimously.
