FRAMINGHAM – The MIAA Division 1 girls basketball seedings came out this weekend, with 40 teams in the playoffs.

And while both Framingham High, seeded #16, and Natick High, seeded #17, have a bye in the opening round, the two Bay State Conference rivals will tip off against each other on March 4 in the round of 32.

The Flyers will host the Redhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night.

Andover High has the #1 seed, with Wachusett Regional #2. Springfield Central and Central Catholic round out the top four teams.

Brookline High is the highest Bay State Conference team seeded at #10. Lincoln-Sudbury Regional is #11.

Other Bay State Conference teams in the tourney include Needham High at #15 and Newton North at #24.
