BOSTON – Mother Nature is very fickle this week.

Today, February 23, the National Weather Service Boston said MetroWest could see temperatures reach almost 70 degrees. The federal agency out of Norton is forecasting a high temperature of 67 degrees today.

But don’t worry if you are not ready for spring, the national Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Thursday into Friday, with a possible half foot to a foot of snow.

The storm is expected to start Thursday night and extend into Friday.

Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible with this storm.

For the rest of today’s forecast, the National Weather Service is also forecasting a windy day, with gusts as much of 35 miles per hour.

Temperatures will drop to the 20s tonight.

Thursday will be sunny, but a high of only 35 degrees.

Snow is expected to start Thursday night and forecasts have about 1 to 3 inches by midnight.
