FRAMINGHAM – Massachusetts gas prices increase 5 cents from last week, to know average $3.54 per gallon, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham.

Today’s price is 18 cents higher than a month ago ($3.36), and 98 cents higher than February 21, 2021 ($2.56).

Massachusetts’s average gas price 1 cent higher than the national average.

AAA Northeast’s February 21 survey of fuel prices found the current national average to be 5 cents higher than last week ($3.48), averaging $3.53 a gallon.

Today’s national average price is 21 cents higher a month ago ($3.32), and 90 cents higher than this day last year ($2.63).
