NATICK – Nancy Devereaux died peacefully on February 5, 2022 in her Natick home surrounded by family and friends just one day prior to her 93rd birthday.
Mrs. Devereaux was born Nancy Lee Buliung to her parents Dorothy and Ralph Buliung in Framingham.
She graduated from Framingham High School and went on to work for over 35 years for her boss and good friend Dr. Paul Sydow.
Nancy met the love of her life Edward William Devereaux at a dance and they were wed on July 1, 1950 and remained so until he passed in 2010.
Nancy and Eddie built their home in Natick and remained active in Natick politics and town affairs. Eddie was the Town Clerk and Nancy served as a Town Meeting Member up until 2022.
Nancy and Eddie’s second home was their cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee where they had so many friends and memories boating, water skiing and swimming. They had 3 bulldogs over the years who where their babies (Mugsey, Maxwell and Oliver).
Nancy is survived by her loving sister Judy Hoss and Charlotte Buliung her high school classmate that became her sister in law when she married big brother Ralph(Buzz) Buliung Jr. She is also loved by her nephew, who predeceased her, Ralph (Jay) Buliung III and her 5 Nieces, Susan Buliung Flaherty, Robin Galante, Pam Hoss, Julie Dorey and Tiffany Hoss along with their spouses and many grandchildren. Nancy was also blessed to be the cherished friend of Michelle and Larry Drolet and their girls, Janelle, Jacqulyn, and Jessica.
Visiting in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street in Natick on Monday February 14th (Valentine’s Day) from 1 to 2 p.m.
Followed by burial in Dell Park Cemetery Natick where she will be joining her beloved husband, Eddie.
