FRAMINGHAM – Sister Anna Marie Edge, CSJ, in her 44th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. 

She was the devoted daughter of Margaret Ann Edge-Colerico and the late William Thomas Edge.  Sister Anna Marie is survived by her loving siblings, Martha Duncan and her husband Robert, William Edge and his wife Katherine, Deanna Agostini and her husband Steven and Judith Gault and her husband Ben. 

She is also survived by her cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins as well as her Sisters in the Congregation. 

After graduating from Emmanuel College, Sister Anna Marie taught for several years at St. Clement School in Somerville. 

While teaching, Sister Anna Marie recognized the impact that computers were having in education and pursued a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Lowell. 

That led to a ministry for more than 20 years in the IT Department for the Sisters of St. Joseph that served both the business of the Congregation as well as assisting the Sisters in maintaining connections with family, friends and the “dear neighbor.”

Visiting hours will be held at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 637 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA on Friday, February 11, 2022, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will immediately follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street, Natick, MA.  

COVID Protocols must be observed (Mask mandate).
