FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Lexington man, who had nine outstanding warrants at Shoppers World on Monday night, February 7.

Police arrested Joshua Ward, 35, of Lexington at 1 Worcester Road at 9:07 p.m.

“Ward was observed by (Sierra Trading Post) staff trying to steal items,” said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“Officers found Ward in possession of wire snips and a wrench,” said Lt. Mickens.

Framingham Police said Ward had “nine outstanding warrants.”

Three from Boston and one each from Abbington, Brookline, Wellesley, Natick, and Reading, said Lt. Mickens.

There was also an outstanding Framingham warrant for drug possession charges, said the police spokesperson.
