NATICK – Natick Public Schools reported 95 COVID cases in the school district between January 27 and February 2.

The district reported 85 positive students and 8 positive staff to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.

That is down from last week, when the district reported 136 positive cases, of which 122 were students and 14 were staff.

In the last 14 days, the Town of Natick reported 488 new COVID cases, according to Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

The rate of positivity over the last 14 days was at 9.9%

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, there has been more than 5,000 COVID cases – 5,031 to be exact.

Last month, Natick instituted a mask mandated or indoor public spaces, due to the surge of the omicron variant of the coronavirus.
