FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Traffic Commission discussed the parking of commercial vehicles on Old Worcester Road.

Four to six commercial vehicles park on the south side of the road overnight, according to William Sedewitz, chair of the Framingham Traffic Commission.

Sedewitz said, “There’s no prohibition in our current regulations against that but I know some residents are not happy about that situation that’s allowed.”

He said he had received multiple complaints from residents about this issue.

“I don’t consider it a particularly concerning speed location, but the on-street parking has been a frustration to neighbors,” he added.

“One of the things that we’ll likely be looking at when we look to update the regulations is how we want to treat commercial vehicles as far as on-street parking,” said Sedewitz.
