FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham License Commission has approved a second location for La Pupusa Local Grill.

After getting their start in Ashland Maria and Francisco Cortez opened La Pupusa Loca Grill at 144 Waverly Street in Framingham.

The La Pupusa Local Grille serves Salvadoran and Mexican cuisine, including Pupusas, which are corn griddle cake filled with beans and cheese, and sometimes with meat.

Now, the owners plan to expand to a location on Concord Street in Framingham.

The new 795 Concord Street location will have even more Mexican dishes. The location will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

A grand opening is scheduled for mid-February.
