FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that Secretary and CEO Jamey Tesler and Highway Administrator Jonathan Gulliver will join members of the Massachusetts Legislature and officials from the City of Framingham for an event to highlight the successes achieved through several Baker-Polito Administration transportation municipal grant programs and to showcase grants awarded to the city.

Mayor Charlie Sisitsky will be in attendance.

The event will be held on Tuesday morning January 18 at DPW Headquarters on Western Avenue.

Grant programs such as the Complete Streets Funding Program, Shared Streets and Spaces, Municipal Small Bridge, Municipal Pavement and Local Bottleneck Reduction have served to significantly improve the quality of the Commonwealth’s transportation network.
