WELLESLEY – Framingham High boys ice hockey team got back on the ice tonight after a week-long pause due to the coronavirus.

The Flyers travelled to Wellesley for a game against the Raiders.

Wellesley won 6-4.

Framingham’s Davin Nichols scored a hat trick in the game.

Framingham junior Nichols scored the only two goals in the first period, to give the Flyers a 2-0 lead after the first period.

Wellesley scored three goals to take a 3-2 lead, before PJ Farese scored, assisted by Nichols to tie the game at 3-3.

But the Raiders added their fourth goal in the period to take a 4-3 lead after two periods.

Nichols scored his third goals of the game in the third period to tie the game at four all.

But Wellesley scored the game winner a few minutes later, and then added an empty net goal to seal the victory.
