FRAMINGHAM – Voters in District 3 only will elect a new City Councilor one week from today on January 11.
Polls will be open at Brophy Elementary School from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for residents in District 3 (Precinct 4 & 7).
The two candidates are City Council Vice Chair Adam Steiner and SIFOC Vice Chair Mary Kate Feeney.

A judge ordered a new election in December, after the City declared a failure to elect for the November 2 election.
The City Council seat is a 2-year term.

Registered voters may vote by mail.
The deadline to register to vote in this election has passed.
Vote by mail applications must be received by the City Clerk’s office by January 5 by 5 p.m.
Those ballots can be delivered to to the City Clerk’s office in the Memorial Building, or dropped in secure outside ballot boxes at the McAuliffe Library or the Memorial Building.

The League of Women Voters Framingham Chapter will hold a forum with both candidates on January 5 at 5 p.m. The public can watch online.
