FRAMINGHAM – Framingham police officers charged a Framingham man with multiple counts of assault and battery on Sunday, January 2.

Arrested at 9:33 p.m. at Burger King on Route 135 was Justin McKelver, 31, of Framingham.

He was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, and assault and battery on an ambulance person/healthcare provider, and disorderly conduct

“An officer saw McKelver and placed him under arrest for several warrants out of Framingham,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

Those warrant charges include disorderly conduct, burglary and malicious destruction of property, said Lt. Mickens.

“At booking McKelver became physically assaultive towards officers,” said Lt. Mickens.

“McKelver suffered minor injuries during the incident,” said Lt. Mickens. “He was then assaultive towards a responding paramedic”
