Barbara Barlow, 92, Bookkeeper

ASHLAND – Barbara A Barlow, 92, passed away on Friday December 24, 2021.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Madeline (Murphy) Fitzgerald.  

Barbara was a graduate of Bentley College and worked as a bookkeeper for several local businesses.   

She was an avid seamstress, rug braider, and bridge player.

Mrs. Barlow was predeceased by her husband George L Barlow and her daughter Jan (Barlow) Carr.

She leaves behind her sister Elizabeth Danker, son Jeffrey Barlow, and his wife Lori, granddaughter Jillian (Barlow) Bousquet and her husband Austin.

A funeral service will be held Friday Jan 7 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday Jan. 6 from 2 to4 p.m. in the Matarese Funeral Home.
