ASHLAND – The last week of 2021, and crews still will be working on the Route 126 revitalization and downtown revitalization projects.

On Route 126, crews will be working in the area of Butterfield Drive towards Algonquin this week.

Traffic will be impacted in this area.

Crews will continue to work on Pond Street until the winter weather becomes colder at which point they will suspend work until spring when it warms up.

Crews will not be working on Friday, December 31.

In downtown Framingham, crews will continue secondary conduit work on Main Street and work at the intersection at Front Street this week. Traffic in this area will be reduced to one lane at times and detoured down Pleasant Street.

On Tuesday, Dec. 28, crews will be in front of Town Hall working on a gutter inlet. The exit of Town Hall will be closed during this time. Exiting traffic will be detoured to Cherry Street.

By the week of January 3, expect crews to be at the Main/Summer/Homer intersection.

The construction team is working hard to install underground infrastructure before the winter weather arrives.
