FRAMINGHAM –  The City of Framingham’s Department of Public Works is pleased to provide information about Holiday Sanitation Schedule, as well as information about Curbside Christmas Tree Collection.

Sanitation Schedule the Week of December 20-25, 2021:

  • Friday, December 24 (Christmas Eve): Trash and Recycling will be collected as regularly scheduled, but the Recycling Drop-Off Center (RDC), 255 Mt. Wayte Avenue, will be CLOSED. 
  • Saturday, December 25 (Christmas Day): The RDC will be CLOSED.
  • Sunday, December 26: The RDC will be open, regular business hours, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
     

Christmas trees will be collected curbside on residents’ trash/recycling day the week of January 10-14, 2022.
 
This collection is for organic/live trees only.

Please make sure to remove all lights, tinsel, and decorations from your tree before placing it at the curb for collection.
 
Artificial trees can be disposed of at the RDC or via bulky item collection.

A soft good bulky item fee applies for the disposal of artificial trees.
