FRAMINGHAM – Nancy E. (Varney) Dunham, 88, a longtime resident of Framingham died Monday December 13, 2021 after a brief illness.

Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Albert & Helen (Hamilton) Varney, and the beloved wife of the late Richard I. Dunham.

Known as Mom, Nan, Nana, Nan-Nan, Sister, Aunt, Friend. However you knew her, you knew she was special, and likely the nicest, kindest person you could have met. Caring, kind, generous, funny and humble are just a few words that describe Nancy.  She was always there to celebrate the good times and catch the tears when things went wrong. She loved watching the Red Sox and Patriots, never said no to ice cream, and always had chocolate candy at the ready. Nancy truly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She especially loved Christmas and birthdays so she could shower them with presents. We love and are going to miss you mom.

A true Matriarch, Nancy is survived by her daughters, Susan Martucelli & her husband Robert, Dale Stucchi & her husband David, Kim McCusker & her husband Tim, her grandchildren, John Murphy & his wife Kate, Christopher Murphy & his wife Danielle, Denise Connolly & her husband Kevin, Danielle Miller & her husband James, Diana Lane & her husband Jake, Katie Deveney & her husband Jamie, William and Timmy McCusker, her great grandchildren, Kaelyn Murphy, Madelyn, Charlotte and Christopher Murphy, Brian and Maura Connolly, Jimmy Miller and Connor Deveney, her siblings, Barbara Coville & her husband John, Robert Varney & his wife Karen, Richard Varney & his wife Helen, and Janet Nix, her brother in Law James Peters, and several nieces and nephews.
