FRAMINGHAM – Dozens of individuals donated toys tonight, December 15, at the 17th Annual Framingham Baseball & Framingham Firefighters event.
“We had a good turn out with many local residents in attendance, including Mayor-elect Charlie Sisitsky and his wife Robin, Andrew Rokes, president of the Framingham firefighters union, District 4 City Councilor Mike Cannon, Sharon Gilbert from Timothy‘s Toy Box,” said one of the organizers Janet Leombruno.
Firefighters Tom Falone and Matt Bradley and Kelly Hagerty, Community Intervention Specialist for the City of Framingham were also in attendance.
The toys will go to Timothy’s Tox Box and the Toys For Tots program.
Joe Zhang from Samba Steak & Sushi hosted the event and donated the food, said Leombruno.
